I dove "the Mead" in April 2003; if the comment you got was accurate, the good news is - YEAH! there's more water now!! (back then the batch plant was at 40ffw)
I was told the elevation was 1148; our vis then was 25' bottom temp was about 60F & it was fun... it is lake diving, not a ton of stuff, but nice; the best thing for me was the concrete block with a pair of shoes in it!!!! LOL - I almost choked on my reg, laughing so hard!!!
