CHAMBER DAY BOATS
One week to go!!!

We’re at 92% capacity with one week to go Chamber Day is Wednesday, May 4), having sold 278 spots out of 302 available, plus another 32 on the Flying Dutchman, our mythical (and fake - just to be clear) Chamber Day boat.

To put it more directly, there are only 24 boat spots available (as of Noon on Wednesday, 4/27 - OOOPS, make that 22 as they just took the book out of my hand to book 2 more spots) so if you’re planning on diving with us on Chamber Day, you’d better get moving. Available boats are Aquatica, Bottom Scratcher, Sea Bass, and Sundiver (but only 2 spots there).

$85 plus $20 for food-and-air gets you diving, raffles (over $15,000 in daytime raffle and boat prizes), a Chamber tour, commemorative t-shirt, and the knowledge that you’re helping get our Chamber going. Come on and join us and 300 of your fellow divers. It’s a great day and for a good cause.

Aquatica (Douglas Dive Club, Dive N Surf, Sea Sabres) - Only 3 spots left
Bottom Scratcher (Open) - 7 spots available
Cee Ray (Reef Seekers) - FULL
Encore (Open) - FULL
Flying Dutchman (Open) - 32 sold and plenty more where they came from

Sea Bass (Aqua Adventures Dive Club) - 9 spots available on this fast boat
Second Stage (Pacific Wilderness Dive Club) - FULL
Sundiver (Ocean Adventures) - Only 2 spots left

CHAMBER EVENING
Right now, we’re right at 79% for Chamber Evening, with 314 out of 400 spots accounted for. We’ve got room at the table(s) for you . . .

And again to be direct, that means we’ve only got 86 seats available. Historically, during the last week the pace of ticket sales picks up so if you’re thinking of going, don’t wait TOO long because we really do have to cap it at 400.

Cost of the evening is $85 and for that you’ll receive tickets good for two (non-alcoholic) drinks (coffee, tea, and water available with your meal as well). You’ll also receive 5 raffle tickets, good for some special prizes we’ll have on hand for the evening. Plus, there will be opportunity (and encouragement and arm-twisting) to buy more raffle tickets while you’re there.

Total value of the evening raffle prizes will approach $10,000 and includes regulators, BCs, computers, and even a complete gear set. (See the website - www.chamberday.org - for a complete listing of all prizes and donors.)

As with Chamber Day, Chamber Evening tickets can be purchased by calling our co-ordinating store at (310)652-4990 or by going to our secure server at www.chamberday.org. Just indicate how many tickets you want and how you want to pay. It’s as simple as that.

CHAMBER TILES AND MURAL
If you can afford it, the full tile mural (it will be presented to you mounted, but you can also request it uncounted) is certain to be a collector’s item. We’re quite serious when we say it’s limited edition and that this will be the only time you’ll have the opportunity to get the full mural. we’ll be placing the orders right after Chamber Day (May 4) and you should expect it will take 6 weeks for delivery.

Here’s the tile count so far:

Full murals (see above - $500 each) - 19 sold
Boat tiles ($25 each) - 8 sold
Chamber tiles ($15 each) - 3 sold

Come on and buy some tiles. Not only will you be supporting our Chamber, but these are great collectors items as well as will make great gifts.
