We've stayed at Rollerville Campground just North of Point Arena in their camping cabins. Not fancy, but affordable and clean...lot like camping, but without the tent. Take your own sleeping bags or sheets - cabins have small refrigerators, cable TV, beds, and heaters. Picnic tables out front if you want to bring a stove and cook (or visit the reasonably priced local eateries). Near lighthouse and easy access up and down the coast.
