I dive with an O'Neill neoprene drysuit and it works great. Some of the benifits I found with neoprene drysuits is that you don't need heavy under wear. I usually wear shorts during the summer months. During the winter months I will throw on a long sleeve polypro top or fleece if it's really cold. Another advantage is that neoprene drysuits are less expensive and that doesn't mean that settling for a suit of less quality.

The down side to neoprene drysuits is it takes forever for the inside of the suit to dry. Every few dives or when the inside of my suit starts to get ripe, I'll soak it with some suit cleaner and hang it out to dry. Two weeks later my suit is finally dry. O'well, I'm happy with my drysuit and works great.
