Reading this BBS has given me a healthy respect for Southern CA diving! I am a novice diver from the East Coast (Maryland) visiting San Diego and LA from 9/6 to 9/12. I am here to Dive (and bike) traveling with a buddy who has to work but can dive on weekend.
We are novices - CA looks like paradise from here but we are not good enough to go it on our own. Can you more experienced divers suggest local Dive Masters / Shops that don't mind working with rookies and can lead us to dive sites appropriate to our skill?
