weight? The 30lb weightbelt common to Californian
divers is a danger, not a safety device. Much better
to only drop half of that - it will still get you to
the surface, but not as quickly, and not involuntarily.

When I get the heavy single tank adapter, my ditchable
weight will drop to 14. And that will be much safer
in OW.
