No reason to hammer you on this issue Dale... we're saving
the real hammerin' for when you deserve it.
When out on the water on any dive trip, I always use
my Prodigy Sport as a backup 'puter... and for the
very reasons you mention. While in Hawaii recently,
my Nitek3 deaf deaf and dumb. Fourtnately, besides
maintaining tables, I also had the silver dollar sized
Oceanic to verify my safety margin, and let me continue
to dive the same day with a multilevel profile.
