Let's also not forget that they do not
completely dump all air in the bladder.

The bungies when not expanded out tend
to create little open circuit air
collecting cells when venting. This
causes air to remain in the bladder
and thusly make it harder to drop.

I saw the girlfriend of one of our
regulars fight like hell to get down
as she was diving her boyfriend's old
bungied set. She was on the surface
rocking the wing back and forth in an
attempt to submerge. She was finally
able to do so, but not before spending
3-5 minutes rocking and kicking to get
down.

Who's trying to talk you into bondage
wings anyway Shereen?
