The LA Underwater Hockey group has moved it's pool time to Saturdays from 10am - 11:30am. Everyone is invited to come out and learn how the game is played! Pool location and details can be found on www.glacd.org.

Basically, its a snorkling game played on the bottom of a pool with short handheld sticks a plastic coated lead puck and goals at each end of the pool. In a regulation game there are six players on each team in the water with on the fly subbing. It's a game that I thought was ultimately rediculous until I tried it three years ago and was hooked. I'm a certified diver of 20 years and have been in the water for closer to 30 years and never would have belived this to be this much fun until I tried. There are several articles on the website describing the game including one which recently appeared in the Washington Post. Come on out and give it a whirl!
