Now they just announced another delay and another couple of thousand dollars before I get the poor little boat back in the water. Cabrillo marina gave my slip away and I need to get reassigned. Anyone wanna buy a used boat. Not used much lately!
Just kidding, but it weighs heavily on my mind to know that I own a boat that I cannot use in water. Maybe I should just sit in the seat and play with the controls and make engine sounds (since there is no engine in the boat anymore).
Diving off the PEACE is sounding pretty darn good! At least it is back in the water and somebody else has all the hassles of boat ownership!
Sorry to vent, but I feel much better now. Know the 3 happiest days of a boat owner's life?
1. The day he buys his boat.
2. The day he sells his boat.
3. The day his neighbor buys a boat.
