That dive was actually before I made the DIR conversion, but nonetheless his point was irrelevant. As you may know the oil rigs is a *live boat* and quite simply we weren't able to get in the water at the same time. It was not really a big issue, but I was wearing doubles and carrying three stage bottles in a fairly strong current so it didn't make sense to attempt the swim. I got picked up, I met up with Kendall and it was a non issue.
