i had to dispense with the monofilament crap. I suppose i could have just as easily stopped swimming and backed out of it like i do on those rare occasions when kelp is the problem but i decided to go swish-slash instead and continued on. When i free dive off of PV of course, a cutting tool is right up there with fins n' mask as being mandatory.
