Dudes, you can pine all you want, but there's nothing like taking a young lady rock climbing! You have to assist in putting on the harness, of course, and various other pleasantries. And all that gear makes you look good. In my SCUBA stuff I have to avoid the whale watching boats that tend to follow me around. Maybe JJ looks good in neoprene, but the rest of us mere mortals sure don't!!!
But then there are also some drawbacks. I took a young lady climbing for her first time back in college, many moons ago, and it eventually ended my bachelorhood. Guess it depends on your objective ;-)
Of course, she's the one that finally encouraged me enough to get started in SCUBA. Now she's created a monster...
