Never heard of a Hamsterfish, but there is a whole group of fish in the Carribean called "Hamlets".

I have a picture of an Indigo Hamlet that I took in Florida about 6 years ago. I was told that they are not common in the Florida area.

Apparently there are around a half a dozen different types of Hamlets in the islands of the Carribean.
