You said the actual dive was to 141, not 165. Is it possible that the dive was planned for the 140 foot range and the 165 was given as a MAXIMUM depth for planning purposes?

Were you planning with tables, and did the instructor suggest dumping the computer's memory so that it would not lock up, but rather continue to be usable as a depth and time instrument for dives being planned and done with tables? If so, I am OK with it.

Just curious.
