Yes, you could do OW and AOW, which are separate classes, back to back if you like. However, your apparent alarm may be due to misunderstanding the concept of AOW: you don't need to be an advanced diver to sign up. AOW is a way to experience additional dives, and varied types of dives, under an instructor's leadership.

Nonetheless, you absolutely could NOT do OW, then AOW, in a day or a weekend, under PADI's standards. It simply is not an option. I am sure you are making an honest mistake, not trolling, but please gather more information prior to making such assertions in your posts, so that you may help others.
