Unfortunately, some here, like MHK, like to be elitist and think that if you don't know everything there is to know about diving then you shouldn't be in the water
Given that we are averaging one fatality a month here in SoCal I don't think it's such a bad idea to teach diver's to know what the hell they are doing.... Perhaps you believe that substandard teaching when instructing diver's to put themselves in an environment that man isn't capable of sustaining life absent equipment and training is a good idea, I think otherwise...
