Reefraider,

I'm not sure you understand fully my position. In the context of decompression diving we do NOT use computer's in water.. In fact, we would never trust our lives on a wrist mounted device that could easily fail at the increased pressures that we operate under, and changing mixtures is a pain in the a**, furthermore I've yet to see an in-water computure for deco diving that I'll accept the algorithm.. Furthermore, even the ones that provide for multiple gases usually cost $900, or so.. I'd just as soon truct my brain and not a device..

As for recreational diver's, yes we do that as well, we are striving to eliminate the blind reliance on the device and trying to get diver's to understand what the computer does so as to render in useless.. Why is that problematic????
