to begin your diving career, you need to take more open water training.

it is encumbant upon you to at least take Advanced Open Water, aka Adventure Diving, so that you get more practice with navigation, depth, equipment, and practical experience. one C-card does not a diver make.

definitely dont start taking "dates" on dives. you are not qualified. not yet. maybe after you finish a rescue course you could then be considered responsible enough.

your OW1 C-card is nothing more than an air card and the credentials to follow a divemaster or A/I on a resort tour dive. dont kid yourself. or else youre gonna die, or kill somebody.
