D-ring would require a dog clip, and probably a SS one at that, since the brass ones get gummy so quickly. I have yet to find these for sale anywhere. I'm going to have to go mail order one of these days just to secure my spg and light head properly.
Normally I'd put the light in my drysuit pocket, but sometimes it's nice to hang it off for a second. Don't have the chest strap anymore, but I can use the belt buckle on the drysuit.
