Went to Coronado Island this sunday for my check out dive. Got out there at about 9:30 am after a boat ride from Mission Bay in SD. It was over cast and there was a slight current. Got into the water and it was cold, but i like the cold so it was great. finally got down under and it was just so .... awsome. Vis was about 40' on the first dive and about 20 on the second. Some people saw some Seals or Sealoins, but i didnt. I did see a few morey Eels and lots of fish.
both dives went to about 50-60 feet and where about 25 min long.
We were aboard the Ocean Express the crew was really helpful. Overall it was completely thrill and i had a great time, and meet a bunch of great people. I cant wait to get back in the water, I ordered my Halcyon BC and am saving up for the scubaPro MK20 G250HP then i am set.
