They run 3/4 day midweek trips out of Ventura. Typically the boats leave at 8:00 and return at 4:30. They run around $65, including lunch and air fills. Check out the schedules for the "Peace", "Spectre" and "Liberty" for more details.
For the record, the boat trips lately have been pretty bumpy too. I went out on the "Spectre" on Friday and the swells were pretty fierce until we got to the south side of Anacapa.
