We have confirmed that the parking fee will be waived. When you pull up to the booth at the entrence to the Aquarium, mention that you are there for the meeting on Marine Protected Areas.

--------

The Greater Los Angeles Council of Divers (GLACD) will be holding a meeting on the proposed Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) on Sunday, October 7th at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium Auditorium in San Pedro from 4 - 7 p.m.. The intent of these meetings is to solicit input from the diving community on the MPAs that are proposed for implementation along California’s Coastline.

A longer message on this meeting was posted earlier at:
http://diver.net/bbs/messages/22070.shtml

The first and most important meeting will be held on Sunday, October 7th at 4 p.m. at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium Auditorium, 3720 Stephen White Drive San Pedro, California.

Additional meetings will be scheduled later as revisions to the proposal are issued by DFG. At least one meeting will be held mid-week so that dive charter operators/owners can attend.
