Sheepheads are fairly common at Pt. Lobos. I
see one most of the time when I dive the Great
Pinnacle in Bluefish Cove, and occasionally
diving the mouth of Whaler's cove. The one at
the GP is downright curious about divers. And
aggressive towards other males -- I watched him
chase another male off his turf once.

There used to be a sheephead at Aumentos Reef in
Monterey Bay but I haven't seen it for a couple
of years, and it was real shy then.

Other than that, there are a lot of sheepheads
up here.
