Mike and Terry and others like JW doing GUE inspired events has nothing to do with spam.
It's more about the war of egos and diving styles. The two get under each other's skin and since it has proven very unpopular to ban Mike from posting, this is approach number 2.
It's not like shark pod ads that no one wants to see. The DIR/GUE stuff is growing in California because people are interested in it. And while not the only way to skin the cat, it clearly leads to safer diving. If that's not a goal for this forum, what is?
