I tried full footed ScubaPro split fins and they were too mushy.
These were Mares Blades. I hated them.
I dunno right where K2 is. I just heard the name. It was towards
Avalon from Italian gardens though.
Don't try grabbing for the antennae bases except as a last resort.
It is by far the hard way to do it. I both cases though, I had no
choice. The first was 3/4 head on to me and almost out of reach. With
the second one, only a bit of the head was visible. I got lucky.
I miss a lot of those grabs, but you have to try and concentration
is what does it. Usually, by the time you concentrate though, the
bug is gone. Of course if you get real lucky, you might get
some horns in your hand and if you grab hard from the front and on
top, the horns will go through kevlar gloves.
Grab at the back of the carapice... if you can, but grab.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
