I have been totally satisfied with my 8/7/6 mil one piece Xcel. It has the attached hood and the polar SCS which is "skin in". I went from a two piece 1/4" suit to this and dropped about 4 lbs of my weight belt. I do however fit well into off the rack sizes. Hopes this helps
