Last summer I was assisting in a class during their pool sessions. When our students were gearing up, an instructor already in the pool called me for help. He showed me two of his students who needed to borrow fins from the shop to complete the class work. The Costco fins kept falling off their feet because the straps would not hold once they were wet. They looked like real dive fins, but they were not good enough to use. The only good thing is they were cheap. Because they threw them away, still unused, and bought real fins.
