Wayne, Padi gave nothing, zero, to the chamber. They didn't fill a boat they didn't give the challenge.
PADI is local, they are based in So.Cal. The PADI Bass live here and some even dive here. Yet they gave nothing. There biggest customer in So Cal ( a customer with 27 stores gave all most nothing).
These two organizations make millions of dollars in the dive industry. Yet they do not give back to the community.
You can look at other organizations that are smaller and not even base here that gave more then both these two muiti-million dollar companys.
You can look at dive shops and individuals that gave more then these two muiti-million dollar companys.
The only thing these two organizations care about is the bottom line.
They don't care about the dive community or the chamber.
