You're right, if the reg free flows and I am in a dark, deep (can drown just as well shallow) overhead environment - people should just give up and die.
Anywhere else, take the 2 seconds to flip the venturi switch, turn the mouthpiece down and smack the top of the reg with the flat of your hand.
