Sorry to hear about the accident. Is this this same SSA store in Woodland Hills that all the Instructors quit? Rumor has it that they quit just because of standards violations just like this. 14 students; basic course and one instructor; with rebreather; Isn't it a standards violation to dive with a rebreather while teaching basic students under SSI Standards? Hope that the Instructor pulls out of it ok and can tell us how to avoid this in the future.
