I do appreciate that Reefseekers was happy to make amends for a shoddy repair job.
I still find the cause of the hoses loosening a mystery...as to whole depressurization
involved in the flight to Kauai, I had the regs with us in a carryon in the cabin,
so they weren't travelling in the cargo hold.

Perhaps I was out of line to cast aspersions on the good name of the shop, since they
obviously have their followers who've never had a problem. I was frustrated by
the fact that, after having such problems with my previous reg that the manufacturer
sent me a new one, I was prepared to have a trouble-free vacation and not have to
think about our equipment.

All told, it was a relatively minor problem and didn't warrant a categorical dis' of
the shop.
