I'm from the San Jose area and will be diving Scripps Canyon in a couple of weeks. Can anyone give me an idea of what it's like as far as vis, water temp, etc., for this time of year?

Also, I'd like to rent a HP100 (DIN Valve) in the Cerritos, Huntington Beach or San Diego areas but am finding that many shops don't carry these as rentals. Does anyone know where I'd be able to find a couple? Thanks!
