That's taking fear of litigation way too far. Do you have an acquaintance sign a waiver when you give him a ride in your car? Does the boss sign a waiver when he comes over for dinner? What about golfing buddies, in case you accidentally hit someone with a golf ball?
The way to handle all of these potential lawsuits is to get insurance, plain and simple. Otherwise daily life would be nothing but a series of waivers, or else it would be very lonely.
