As you know Elaine, she is a large Rotti and is quite old for here breed (11 yrs). She is totally confortable on the Cat Express boats.

Like Max says, they do insist you muzzle all dogs on a leash from
terminal to terminal. You also have to sign a lite waiver saying
you will keep your dog leashed and muzzled at all times when in
the terminals and on the boat.

Once on the island, Roxy has been very welcome to ride in the
taxis to the house. The island is overall very dog friendly as
long as they are on their leash and you do curb them.

The only problem with an older dog, and perhaps for one that is
convalescing, is that is can be tough going up and down the
stairs/streets to where you are staying. If you are there for
only a day or have a place nearer to the water, the less of a
problem it could be. Roxy has to take a Zubrin when she over does
it sometimes.
