BSB are already protected. Creating a no-take reserve or preserve from Long to Goat would not protect them any more than they already are. According to reports I have heard the BSB population has been on a steep upswing the last 6 years. More and more of them are being seen by you divers and caught by us fisher people that are released. I used to not catch a one 4 years ago. LAst year we caught 1. And now just this past spring and summer we've caught 4. I think the frequency of their appearance now-a-days would hardly make them a diminsihing population.

It's like taking a 6 inch bait net to capture a 14 foot FLAT FISH. It's nonsense, pure and simple.
