Transporting small inflatable to Catalina?

I have a small inflatable that I'd like to use to get around at Catalina. It's a 12' RIB zodiac with a 15hp motor. I can plane and go about 25kts with it but I have never taken it more than 5 miles offshore and it is probably a bad idea drive it to Catalina some 25miles away. What are my options for getting my boat to the island for cheap? It actually deflates and rolls up in a small duffel bag about 80#s and the motor weighs about another 80#s and my dive gear weighs probably another 100#s.

I was planning on camping out there while doing my diving. Are there any rules against beaching the boat on shore?

The dive boats go to popular places but I figure with my inflatable I can get inside some small caves and check them out for lobsters and it'd be a whole lot more fun. Thanks!
