Problem with ReefNet SensusPro's

After our last dives, both of our Sensus Pros try to download, but stop just a bit short of the 56322 bytes they are supposed to download.

They did download during one attempt, but then did not process their raw files (were saved to disk). Have already tried the usual steps of checking connections, reloading drivers, software, cleaning contacts, etc. No success. Voltage readings are 3 and 3.04, so are within tolerance. Have sent an inquiry to ReefNet along with the raw data file; awaiting a reply.

The only recent change to our system lately was in upgrading to the new Norton 2006 firewall and anti-virus. Have checked the ports on the firewall and nothing should be getting blocked, plus it did download teh raw data files (just didn't process them).

I suspect a register full problem on the devices themselves...maybe corrupt firmware?

They have worked OK for the past year, logging around 100 dives. I like their compact design and the software.

Anyone have a similar problem ... better yet, a solution to fix them?
