You know what I think I'll do is try it with the widest set up (shortest tube) for now and forget about the framer, which I knew I couldn't use anyway. I'll load the camera with some 100 speed print film and take it into a pool and start shooting away at some stuff and bracket the distance. I'll also set the strobe right on top of the end of the lens pointing downward and shoot ttl.
I'll let you guys know how it works.
