I want to thank all of the divers and crew of the Peace trip to Santa Rosa/Santa Cruz on Jan 20 and 21st. I am a brand new diver. (I had ten dives logged before this trip. I just got certified in October.)

The trip was chartered by Sea Sons and had guests from Sea Divers and Douglas dive clubs.

I can not begin to tell you how gracious and helpful these divers were to me and my buddy (only slightly more experienced than I). I learned a lot on this trip, not just from the intermediate dives we logged there, but from talking with divers who have been diving longer than I've been breathing.

Special thanks to Shel, who took my buddy and me into the shallows to bag our first bug!! He showed us how to find them and make some grabs. We had struggled for two days and were going to go home empty-handed. He really went out of his way to teach us a few important lessons.
