Although this sucks for most diving I sometimes bump into lobster out in the open when hunting. I call it "Chunky" when I can see well but the water is full of particulates. This type of visibility particularly sucks for wide angle photography because your head tells you can see, but the the camera sees quite a bit of backscatter.
