Tried out our new horse collar BC's today and did some freediving of Deer Creek. Vis was about 5 feet clear and 10 foot 'cloudy', though the otter could see my yellow weight belt at 25 feet.

Kelp is extremely healthy and saw the usual culprits of sea perch and bass. Waves were 2 to 3 foot at high tide and about 1 to 2 at low.

Divinotter left a "gift" there - a medium size JetFin with steel strap. Lost during re-entry. It did give us a chance to play for a while in the surf looking for it. Always make lemonade from those lemons!
