With all of the new digital photography and Photoshop it seems that the darkroom is becoming less than a novelty, but a dying art.

I pine for the day of chemicals, trays, reels and tongs.
Yeah, I know, I have pushed around a pixel or two... but I miss the whole darkroom event. Mysterious and spooky!
Light-pipe terra drives just don't have the romance.

So I get an e-mail from the offspring. She is in Berkley attending "Worldwide Pinhole Day". This gurl is definitely from the digital age. She showed up to 5th grade with a "DIGITAL? camera. The teachers were wowed. Now she is getting her B.A.

Now there are few film folk.

So when she sent me this abstract shot done on film sans lens, the buttons on my shirt popped.

I can not remember any underwater pinhole work... Can you?
