I'm a bit surprised that so many people griped about my question, especially when these words appear right beneath the headline of "California Scuba Diving BBS":

"Free & Open Forum for California Scuba Diving DiscussionTM"

So what's your problem? It seems that I was well within the terms of scuba diving discussion, especially in an 'open and free' forum.
