I have heard that silicone will discolor. If it comes in contact with neoprene. Most of my masks I keep in mask cases and out of direct sunlight. So I do not have problems.

I dove for years with the old black rubber masks. I went over to clear silicone with my first prescription lens mask in 1988. I picked up a couple of black silicone masks at a great price last year. I wore them once. I got spoiled by the lack of tunnel vision in clear silicone masks. Clear silicone is for me.
