Trail is reopened and the lot will be open days. Note: trail "starts" by walking down the DWP trail next to the lot, to a new access spot @ the old "fence break" with no locking gate yet.

The beach is cleared of all vegetation, the "fishnet" is gone from the tideline, Yaaay!!! I'll miss the wild radish and nasturceums(sp).

I was treated to a VIP tour and 2 hour meeting last week and will submit an in depth report to Dale for release next month. Divers will enjoy free parking near the old central area, heads, showers, tables and a snack bar @ the old mid-way plateau, resumed "point" access, Etc.

....meanwhile a divers re-opening Bar B Q is scheduled for this Sunday 20Apr08, ALL are invited for BYO Beef, AND we're gonna explore the "great room" that was rumored and rediscovered in the back of the "Whalers Cave", We'll See? Come on out! Surf's down and it looked great today.
