Live from Isthmus Reef, Catalina from the Great Escape.
2nd day of the two-day trip with Adventure Plus out of Utah.
We were at Santa Barbara Island yesterday and saw 10 to 15 Leopard Sharks along with we, think, a Soap Fin shark, and at least one giant black sea bass. I have never heard of Leopards sharks here, any one else seen any there lately. Then we moved over to the rookery and Tom and I counted over 14 dead sea lions in the one and a half to two foot range floating on top of the kelp. Any ideas?
Today at Catalina first two dives at Ship Rock with vis around 60 feet. Third dive at Bird Rock, and finishing the day at Isthmus Reef next to Greg on the “Bottom Scratcher”
