Just a reminder for those that are considering attending the annual north coast dive party and campout.
This year we're having it at Albion River Campground in Mendocino County (6 miles south of Mendocino).

The dates are July 30 thru August 2nd. August 1st is the re-opening of abalone season.
The campground is right on the ocean on the Albion river and has many great features. One is great bathrooms and showers, and boat facilities for those with their own boats.
Kayaking can be done off the beach and the bay offers some good ab hunting. There are some great shore diving spots within a few miles up and down the coast. The underwater terrain is very structural with very dramatic rock formations and lots of life.

There will be several Socallers coming up for this.
Consider coming up yourself if you've never been up here. It'll be lots of fun.

If you are coming up, call the campground and get a campsite. Most of the crew will be in D section, but apparently D section is now full. But there are plenty of other sites around the campground still open. You can hang out at our main site for the festivties then retire to your own quiet campsite at night.
