Hi Chad. I tell my buddies to go off the directions from the resort website www.terranea.com which even has a link to google maps. The parking is easy. When you enter the resort there are signs directing you to the free public parking area. Then just follow the only access road down to the cove. It's simple once you get there. I don't think you'll have any trouble with the entry or exit at the cove as long as the surf is down. If you go on the weekend there will no doubt be other divers there to follow and watch. I would rate the boulder at the Point as very difficult and avoid it until you're more comfortable with the area and can follow the more experienced divers. Always exit at the cove too. I like to use a hand truck for my gear, but most will just do the hike which isn't too bad. When I get a chance I'll e-mail you some recent pics of the resort to give you an idea of the trails and entry. Good luck and have fun.

Rich
