Diving at Oceanside isn't great really. It's mostly just sand... though sand can be fun too. There are a few places
near by there though where you could have fun.
Go to La Jolla Shores and swim out to the Canyon. Lots of parking, easy diving, lots of divers. Worth doing once at least.
Go to La Jolla Reserve. More lobster than you ever imagined even if you can't take them.
Wreck Alley isn't a beach dive, but it's not to expensive and you could do a tank on the Yukon and the Ruby E. Very
beautiful and exotic.
Get off at the Del Mar Race Track. Go to the beach. At the the south side is a popular beach with parking. Walk a few hundred
yards south and there is a nice reef off shore. Lots of nice reef.
a bit like the one at Cardiff.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
